This is my twenty third and also my final face for 29 Faces in September. I didn’t reach twenty nine, but I believe twenty three is a very respectable number of portraits for the month of September. It’s also my thirtieth painting.
I repainted a half face that I started the other day. I wasn’t really pleased with the way it turned out, so I gessoed over it and redid it from scratch.
