To the dreamer, everything is possible.
This piece was inspired by our first true spring day with blue skies and little fluffy clouds. The message is so fitting right now, as I am up to my elbows in seeds and planting and organising for our other projects here at home and still trying to practice my sketching and painting and be creative every day. It is possible.
I worked with gesso, gel medium, Faber Castell Gel Sticks and white acrylic on 9 x 12 mixed media paper. She was fading a bit into the background because I went a little happy with the flowers, so I brought her back out with a little black ink outline. In reality the colors are much brighter. I am not normally an orange person, but I love the orange against the turquoise/aqua.
She's beautiful! Its a lovely picture. I love her eyes and the way her hair looks like its flowing in the wind.

I like the orange against the blue. The flowers are pretty, and make the piece so unique. Great painting!
